Biped Magazine: Corruption at the Western Canadian Music Awards 
Despite recording a groundbreaking children's album for adults, From The Moon was shut out of the Western Canadian Music Awards. In the spring, when we self-nominated The Cat's Meow for Children's Album of the Year, victory seemed certain. We had crossed all our T's and dotted our I's in the application process and, of course, sent them our extremely kick ass children's album for adults.
Naturally, we knew we'd be too busy with bigger and better things to actually accept our award in person, so to prepare, we recorded our video acceptance speech that they could play on the big screen. Here it is:
If it wasn't obvious enough when the Liptonians won a WCMA two years ago, it's glaringly true now: The awards are rigged.
